In connection with the entry into force, on 25 May 2018, of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, commonly referred to as the GDPR, to comply with the information obligation, we wish to inform you on the types of personal data we collect and of the principles on which the processing takes place.

In such cases, as a result of your refusal to allow access to your data by the Institute of Power Engineering, Gdańsk Division, the Institute may not be able to answer your questions, send a proposal or provide a service.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access your data and receive a copy of them, to rectify (correct) your data, to delete them, to limit or object to their processing, to transfer your data and to withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data at any time by contacting our Division, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
VI.With the security of the entrusted data in mind, we ensure that personal data processed by the Institute of Power Engineering, Gdańsk Division, are adequately protected against third-party access and external access.
VII.We will store your data for the period necessary to ensure proper performance of the service. In each case, the period of processing may be extended by the limitation period for claims if the processing of personal data is necessary to establish or pursue claims, if any, or for IEn's defence against such claims.
VIII. Your personal data may be transferred to other personal data processors (e.g. accounting service providers, health and safety supervision service providers, IT systems and IT services providers) on behalf of the Institute of Power Engineering, Gdańsk Division, on the basis of a data processing agreement.
IX.The recipients of your data are authorised employees/associates of the Institute of Power Engineering, Gdańsk Division, who may be granted access to such data in order to perform their duties.
X.Your personal data are not subject to profiling.
