Support for design works and specification of equipment parameters

The Institute of Power Engineering, Gdańsk Division offers support for design offices as regards the selection of equipment to be applied in new and existing (upgraded) facilities. The scope of work may include, for example, the selection or verification of the following:

  • transformer parameters (rated power, voltage ratio, adjustment range)
  • cross-section of live wires / metallic screens of HV and MV cables in the internal system of the connected facility
  • equipment (execution variant) of a wind power plant
  • reactive power compensation devices
  • protection settings.

 

The scope of the offered works also includes dynamic analyses and, among other things, the selection of surge arresters, short circuit shunt reactors and determination of the switching sequence.
