Products System and market analyses Verification of the connected facility in terms of its conformity to the requirements specified in Polish and European regulations
The Institute of Power Engineering, Gdańsk Division offers the performance of analyses to verify the facilities connected to the power grid in terms of their conformity to applicable regulations (the Grid Code concerning the requirements for connecting power generation units to the network, Requirements for General Use). For this purpose, we develop a model of the analysed energy generation module along with its control system (on the level of power generation units and the entire generation module), and then we perform analyses for both fixed and dynamic states using specialised simulation tools.
As part of the conformity verification, analyses are performed for the purposes of the interim operational notification (ION) and the final operational notification (FON). With regard to simulation analyses performed in order to verify the connected facility, i.e.:
with the requirements of the dedicated Regulation of the EU Commission, the Distribution/Transmission Grid Code and the connection conditions. The prepared documentation can be used as attachments to the ION and/or FON application.The scope of works can be extended to include for instance:
