The Gdańsk Division is the largest field office of the Institute of Power Engineering. Currently, over 100 people work here. Our greatest potential is an experienced staff of employees with various specialities. The Gdańsk Division, located in a modern building, has a wide laboratory base equipped with, inter alia, a Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS), electric machines and power hydraulics. Moreover, the Division has facilities for testing of advanced metering infrastructure.
The Gdańsk Division works independently or cooperates with industrial partners. We carry out the entire process from the R&D phase through design, construction of devices, supervision over their installation and start-up to commissioning. We provide solutions for the entire power sector, starting from generation (automation and control, metering and identification), through transmission and distribution. We are also engaged in broadly understood IT science in power industry, mathematical modelling and simulation research. We prepare technical and economic analyses.
Our mission is to deliver research and expertise results as well as devices and software in the field of power industry to provide our customers with economically and technically optimal and environmentally friendly solutions based on our in-depth knowledge, many years of experience, our scientific studies and our research and development work.
